Spirited drinkers will also enjoy the new section on beer cocktails that round out this comprehensive volume.
Book Features:
- The best-selling beer title, now updated. Since its original publication in 2009, Tasting Beer (200,000 copies sold) has become the leader on the subject of beer evaluation and appreciation. The second edition features 25 percent new material.
- Learn to taste like the pros. The new edition features twice as much information on how to develop the taste and sensory skills as well as the scientific understanding of a discerning beer drinker, with insights from how competitive judges evaluate different brews. The book has been adapted as a study guide by Cicerone, the major beer professional certification organization. Cicerone.org says: "As a general resource, Randy Mosher's book Tasting Beer is an excellent way to get a professional grounding in beer. While the perspective of 'Tasting Beer' is that of a consumer tasting beer at home, the information on brewing, beer history, and beer styles is applicable to the Cicerone program."
- Updated with the hottest trends and developments. New and updated sections include beer cocktails, beer-and-food pairings, craft beer trends, and an intensive review of draft systems and their effect on flavour.
