Malcolm's day, meanwhile, couldn't be any worse: chewed out by his boss for failing the last mission, saddled with another newbie on the Elite Unit, and still reeling from the nightmares that haunt him worse than the countless opponents he's faced over the years.

While Symone's insatiable appetite for a real brawl drives her to break down Malcolm's impenetrable emotional walls, the greatest threat to Uri City's powered population emerges and goads the superpowered Defenders into a maniacal race against the clock to stop him and his team of assassins from murdering one of the Company's own.
