Meet Erin, her puppy Sausages and friends as they swap recipes and pots for clues and culprits and try to solve the mystery of why their cookery club is closing. A beautifully observed adventure full of the power of food and friendship, by Waterstones-shortlisted author, Ewa Jozefkowicz.

Erin loves her mum, Lara. For as long as she can remember it has just been the two of them. They've never had a lot, but they've always been happy. Moving to a new school, Erin meets Tanya, who has a housekeeper and a wealthy dad. They seem so different but soon become the best of friends. When Lara loses her job, she decides to follow her dream of becoming a famous chef. But things don't work out exactly to plan, so Erin encourages her to set up a recipe blog which becomes an overnight success. With renewed confidence, Lara becomes the teacher of Erin's After School Cooking Club.

One day, without explanation, the community centre, and their club, is under threat of closure. Who could be plotting against them and why? Erin can't bear to think of the cookery club closing, so together with Tanya, Sam, Frixos and Sausages, they form the Cooking Club Detectives and set out to solve the mystery and save their club.
