About the Author
Amelia Lamont is a midwife, lactation and sleep consultant, and entrepreneur. Her clients describe her as ‘out there and real’ and a ‘sleep and baby whisperer.’ Amelia began her career in midwifery 10 years ago and soon identified a need for supporting new families and babies beyond the hospital, into the fourth trimester. After attending a sleep school with her first child, she went on to help thousands of families as a sleep consultant and later became a certified IBCLC (International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners) consultant. Her passion lies in easing the challenges of pregnancy and ensuring families are well-informed about birth, the postnatal period, sleep, and beyond. When she’s not sharing her expertise with clients or chasing her kids in and out of the car, Amelia is active on her Instagram account @themidwifemumma. From the highs to the lows of motherhood, Amelia has no filter when sharing her life with her audience, and she wouldn’t have it any other way.
