This book is about losing a mom, but I connected with the book as a mom, who worried about whether my children would be ok as I battled sickness. The author lights the pathway for the journey back from the dark side. This applies to whatever dark side, whether of grief, disappointment, loss of faith. Most importantly it demonstrates God's grace to heal the broken-hearted. What a refreshing read!

This book hits you right from the first page & is hard to put down. I felt every raw emotion from the author and applaud her for letting us in to the grieving process & her attempt to still live life to its fullest.

This book is incredible. There's a grief process you go through after the loss of a mother and the author Lorinda Buckingham really capture the deep emotions and skills needed to start healing. I recommend anyone going through lost of any kind to grab this book. It's life changing

I lost my dad when I was 19 and although I'm extremely fortunate enough to still have my mom around, she's getting older and I know she won't be around forever. This book caught my eye as I was browsing through Amazon and I thought I'd skim through a few pages to gain some insight but I wasn't able to put it down! Definitely recommend for ANYONE who has an Irreplaceable mother.
