How can a 400 year-old diary that was brought to America by John White, the Governor of Sir Walter Raleigh's Lost Colony of 1587, contain Beatles' song lyrics? And what does Elwood, a college freshman who believes he's an extraterrestrial, have to do with it? THE MAN FROM THE UNKNOWNS is a science fiction romantic comedy that begins in 1965 America with Erica trying to corroborate information that she's discovered that would give credence to Elwood's claim of being an extraterrestrial left on Earth to perform a monumental mission, and once completed, his biological parents would return for him. Their story begins with Erica at the Lumbee Indian Nation investigating the miraculous diary, a diary that, if authentic, smashes the accepted space-time continuum, and confirms Elwood Tanner's secret rogue activities. With Erica's help, Elwood finds and completes the mission he'd suspected he was destined for all along. Finding what this mission is and how it was completed makes this read a 'can't put it down' kind of book. And did I forget to mention the sparks that fly between Elwood and Erica? After all, this is a romantic comedy of an interplanetary order.
