Friedemann Schrenk is Professor of Vertebrate Palaeobiology at Johann Wolfgang Goeth University, Frankfurt, Germany, and is Head of the Palaeoanthropological Department at the Senckenberg Research Institute in Frankfurt. Stephanie Muller is an editor and works in the Palaeoanthropological Department of the Senckenberg Research Institute.
