This children's book deposits me in my own childhood. Once again, I smell summer through the colorful descriptions and depictions of summers of old. Smelled through the senses of a blind girl, the smells are more precious and vibrant. Thank you for the reminders. Children are encouraged by the beautiful colorful pictures and delightful words to try using other senses besides sight.
