The Very Polite Knight

Finn isn't like the other knights. He's not fierce like Boris, tough like Ethel or sneaky like Walter. Finn is thoughtful and caring and polite.

So, when the King sends the knights on a quest into the monster-ridden Dark Wood, Finn stays behind. But despite being fierce and tough and sneaky, the other knights fail to complete the mission. It's up to Finn to help the King! But what is a knight to do when he is polite and does not fight?

A story that reminds us that a true hero is compassionate, gentle and kind.

About the Illustrator

From a young age Ian always knew he wanted to be an artist (or a dinosaur). A box of crayons would occupy him happily for hours, in fact some of his best work was in crayon on his mum's walls! When he got a bit older, and the house had run out of walls to scribble on, he studied illustration at the University of the West of England.

Since then Ian has continued to draw and write funny stories, creating characters like the ones that had fired his imagination as a child. He now happily works as an illustrator (and not a dinosaur after all).
