Tom Rath, an author and researcher, has dedicated the past two decades to exploring how work can enhance human health and well-being. His impressive body of work includes 10 books, collectively selling over 10 million copies and consistently gracing global bestseller lists.

His debut book, "How Full Is Your Bucket?", swiftly became a #1 New York Times bestseller, paving the way for a series of widely-used classroom books. Notably, "StrengthsFinder 2.0" stands as Amazon’s highest-selling non-fiction book of all time. Among his other bestselling titles are "Strengths Based Leadership," "Wellbeing," "Eat Move Sleep," and "Are You Fully Charged?". Tom has also co-authored two illustrated children's books, "How Full Is Your Bucket? for Kids" and "The Rechargeables."

His recent works include "Life’s Great Question: Discover How You Best Contribute to the World" and "It’s Not About You: A Brief Guide to a Meaningful Life," published in collaboration with Amazon Original Stories.

Having spent 13 years at Gallup, Tom led worldwide consulting efforts in strengths, employee engagement, well-being, and leadership. Following this, he served as an external advisor and Gallup Senior Scientist. Beyond his professional endeavors, Tom served as Vice-Chair of the VHL cancer research organization and lectured at the University of Pennsylvania.

Currently, Tom is involved in co-founding a publishing company and serves as an advisor, investor, and partner in various startups. A graduate of the University of Michigan and the University of Pennsylvania, Tom resides in Arlington, Virginia, with his wife, Ashley, and their two children.
