In this third book of the Maria series, young attorney Luke Smith enlists the help of Maria, now 16, to find his ex-fiancee Becca and her baby daughter who he thinks may be his. Mother and daughter are in the Philippines with the rogue federal agent Brent Danes, the man who broke up Luke's engagement to Becca through a series of missteps and accidental encounters.
