Money! We all know it's important. We all know that having more of it can solve
many of life's challenges, though not all of them.
And we've all read that what you learn about money from a young age, both consciously and unconsciously, has an important bearing on how you make financial and life decisions as you transition into adulthood and beyond.
Most of us would like our kids to have a better understanding of money and be more financially savvy than we were as we became young adults.
But what key lessons, attitudes, and skills are we supposed to teach them? And at
what stage along the journey?
Wealth Ways for the Young is a concise yet information-packed book about what we
should aim to teach our children about money and how it works.
From young children to teenagers, the book covers pocket money, first jobs, education and careers, how to harness the magic of compound interest, how to become a money maestro, housing, studying and much more.

Industry Reviews
"Pete Wargent does that very valuable but unfortunately rare thing he provides perspective as well as insight on matters financial. And I like borrowing his graphs! Michael Pascoe, one of Australias most experienced and thoughtful finance and economics commentators with more than four decades in newspaper, broadcast and online journalism. If you follow Petes advice and get your children to understand money and finance from an early age, they are likely to flourish in an area that otherwise is fraught with poor savings, too much debt, an absence from home ownership, and a woefully inadequate knowledge of investing. We teach our children to read, write, add up and to drive. Things that are vital for a happy and secure adulthood. If they can follow even part of whatPete has got to say about finance, your children will grow up financially healthy, wealthy and wise. -- Stephen Koukoulas, leading global economist, Managing, Director of Market Economics, and former Senior Economic, Advisor to Prime Minister Julia Gillard
"Pete is a great educator on all matters finance. As a parent and grandparent myself, I strongly recommend you get the book!" -- Michael Yardney, Amazon #1 best-selling author and once again voted Australias leading expert in wealth creation through property.
