Well of Bones

Rivers Run Station owner Charlie Morgan has his hands full looking after his sprawling property and the last thing he needs is people taking pot shots at his cattle. Detective Rosie Bloom, affectionately known as the Silver Dingo to all but herself, has been seconded to this rugged corner of the Kimberley to investigate a spate of local troubles. Not long after her arrival the local troubles morph into something far more sinister and the Silver Dingo is now confronted with the prospect of a murderer on the loose.

K.A. Hudson has proved herself a budding storyteller, weaving a suspenseful and intriguing thriller into the alluring and breathtaking landscape of the Australian Outback. She breathes intense life into her characters, some endearing or sympathetic, others loathsome or vile, but the prose is always captivating and the action fully charged. Well of Bones is Hudson's second novel, and like the first, Constant Fear, is set in regional Australia.
