What Emergency? Second Edition

The Second Edition features a new chapter titled Aftermath, detailing the author's actions following the judicial proceedings. These steps involved the Dallas County District Attorney, the administration of the City of Duncanville and its Police Department, the Supreme Court of Texas, the Texas State Bar, the Waxahachie Daily Light newspaper, and two Ellis County District Courts.

After the author took a stand on gun safety and the unwarranted, dangerous policy to allow the consumption of alcoholic beverages at a Texas gun range, her reputation was maliciously destroyed. It took a lawsuit, nearly six years of relentless legal battles, and tens of thousands of dollars in attorney fees to gather the evidence revealing the Ellis County Sportsman's Club (ECSC) elected officers and their leagues manager, Dan Hunt, had lied-and why: to silence her.

Throughout the events detailed in this book, Dan Hunt, a Duncanville narcotics detective and ECSC leagues manager, along with ECSC elected officers, exhibited a blatant disregard for their Bylaws, Texas laws, a mediated, signed contract, and First Amendment Rights.

Moreover, the author offers a disturbing analysis of the rules and procedures governing the Texas Judicial System and the conduct of five attorneys, drawing from approximately forty-five documents involving three Texas courts: the 443rd and 40th Ellis County District Courts and the Court of Appeals, Tenth District of Texas.
