This guide discusses the wines of Alsace, extending from Strasbourg to south of Colmar, including the Grand Crus, and covering all seven grape varieties (including Riesling and Pinot Noir).
The guide is divided into two parts. The first part discusses the regions, and explains the character and range of the wines. The second part profiles the producers, showing how each winemaker interprets the local character.

References wines are recommended for each region.
