Once you have found an eBook title you wish to purchase, under the price you will have an option to select Free with Kobo Plus Read, Start Free Trial. You can add as many titles as you'd like from the Kobo Plus eBook collection. You will not be charged for the first 30 days and may cancel at anytime.
Free trials are only offered as part of a subscription plan. We require your credit card information to cover your recurring subscription charges once the free trial is complete.
A billing address is required for the creation of a customer account, credit card validation and confirmation of territory.
Once you have logged in to the Booktopia website, subscription eligible products will show Add To Library. You can also filter to view Kobo Plus eBook Subscription Categories only.
To read your book you will need to access via the reader App. You can also view your purchases under My Account and all your content will be displayed under the Digital Library tab.
Publishers of eBooks opt to have their content listed as subscription eligible products. Unfortunately some publishers have not made their titles available. More titles are added every month.
You can manage your Kobo Plus subscription by logging into your Booktopia account and selecting the account preferences tab.
To cancel your Kobo Plus eBook Subscription you need to log into your Booktopia account and select Cancel subscription under the account preferences tab.
You can access all of your downloaded ebooks without WiFi by using the Booktopia eReader App, a Kobo eReader or Kobo App. This can be useful when travelling, or if you simply want to have all your books with you all the time. There is a maximum of 15 Kobo Plus eBooks that can read offline within 30 days.

If you cancel your subscription all titles purchased within the Kobo Plus reader category will not be accessible and any bookmarks and notes will be removed. The titles will remain viewable in a preview state.
If you cancel your subscription it will take effect at the end of the renewal date. Unfortunately we can not provide a refund.

To read on your PC or Mac please install the Kobo Desktop App.
Alternatively the book is also available on your Kobo eReader device when you sign in with your Booktopia account.
